The propaganda filled lawsuit highly sensationalized by Marty Weybret's fledgling small town news paper "The Lodi News Sentinel" abruptly ended with Attorney Glenn Peterson disgraced and shamed with fines and sanctions by the Superior Court of Sacramento, California.
Peterson’s bogus information sources were two individuals, William A. Mead Jr. and Mario Sebastian, who were dismissed from employment due to extreme moral failure at the ministry where Malvitz-Ellis was the Senior Pastor in the mid 90's.
After his failed attempt against Malvitz, Super-lawyer Glenn W. Peterson was later repeatedly sued for professional negligence and other claims in several subsequent cases according to Sacramento Superior Court records.
Mark J. Malvitz stated: "It is a sad day for the legal community, when a little rodent such as Glenn W. Peterson would openly publish completely false and disgusting information as if it were fact in order to libel people and try to hide behind the defense of privilege like a scrawny little coward.
Glenn's attempt to intimidate us was laughable at best. My favorite part is when he lunged up in my face in a physically threatening manner as if he was supposed to be scary or something." Malvitz chuckled. "The only thing that scared me about Glenn Peterson was his raunchy breath that blew in my face. Admittedly, his breath was pretty scary." Malvitz laughed.
"Regarding this bogus lawsuit, we have done everything in our power to try and reconcile with these people even seeking mediation, not to avoid a lawsuit, as falsely stated by the Lodi News Sentinel, but to be Scriptural and reconciliatory, as commanded by the Bible." Malvitz said "The reality is, my wife and I spent three days of listening to utter stupidity in mediation that has been completely fruitless, therefore, we have come to the decision to move ahead in aggressive litigation against Glenn Peterson and his clearly retarded little group.
I have the utmost confidence that Glenn the Superlawyer does not stand a chance as his frivolous lawsuit lacks cause of action, legal substance, evidence, and is based on fraudulent claims and we are looking forward to proving Glenn's fallacy. If Peterson wants to play hardball that's perfectly fine with me. I'm looking forward to it. " said Malvitz in 2004.
A Stockton attorney who asked not to be named stated: “Years ago these three clowns- William A. Mead Jr, Mario Sebastian and the child endangerment criminal Gary Wisner MD were quoted in the news paper who lied like a bunch of dogs against the ministry. Gary Wisner was charged with 15 felonies shortly after his bout with Malvitz.
Several of Wisner's felonies were violent and perjury related, including criminal assault, packing an illegal firearm and falsifying legal documents which may amount to felony perjury.
Glenn Peterson thought he had a big chance to make a name for himself by using these jokers as his information sources to his own demise. Essentially, in the end, Glenn made a complete fool of himself and has become an embarrassment to the legal community. Peterson's cute little stunt was simply an extreme case of incompetence and really bad lawyering.”
The main phony information source with the failed lawsuit led by Attorney Glenn Peterson was the jailed and convicted criminal Gary R. Wisner of Lodi California who was issued a $25,000 bench warrant for his arrest and also thrown in jail for child endangerment and sued by the Bank of Lodi for over $250,000 ending in bankruptcy. Wisner was also prosecuted on 15 felony counts including criminal assault against law enforcement agents. Wisner was ordered to post $310, 000 bail while incarcerated before facing his criminal trial.
A Stockton attorney stated: "Gary Wisner is a major fraud case and an obvious liar as he is facing multiple felony perjury crimes. He has been sued excessively for medical malpractice, breach of contract / warranty, fraud, harassment, defamation as well as criminally indicted, prosecuted, and jailed for child endangerment. He even attempted to file bankruptcy in the state of New York in order to keep from paying child support from his defrocked marriage. They ought to lock Wisner up in San Quentin and throw the key away.
If I were Dr. Malvitz-Ellis I wouldnt have been so nice, nor would I have pled "no contest" due to not wanting to spend an excessive amount of attorney's fees in order to fight a piddly fine of $100 -- comparable to a parking ticket. Mark was way too kind in my estimation. It is little wonder that the Meads were attracted to Wisner's company. Birds of a feather."
Another main phony information source was the Mead family with a long criminal history. The father (William Mead Sr.) who was sentence to prison as a sex offender for statutory rape for having sex with a child and the Mead family who were prosecuted and convicted on multiple felony drug crimes.
According to documentation from the mid 90's and former church board member Michael Bishop, both William A. Mead Jr and Mario Sebastian were dismissed for sexual misconduct and sexual harassment complaints from several individuals; both male and female.
Bishop stated: "We had to terminate William A. Mead Jr from employment due to his conduct. I'm sorry, but you just cant have a guy like William A. Mead Jr running around telling people that he has a two inch penis...that doesn't go over very well in a church environment for obvious reasons."
According to friends of Mead and Sebastian interviewed in the mid 90's, after termination, Mario Sebastian renounced his faith in Christ in order to continue his homosexual relationship with his long-term boyfriend in Lodi California. William A. Mead Jr left to live with his girlfriend after the termination in Stockton California. Both Sebastian and Mead’s employment were terminated by the administrative management and board members of the ministry.
Further, William A. Mead Jr claimed to be Dick Bernal's youth pastor at Jubilee Christian Center in San Jose later found to be false. "We have never even heard of an Alton Mead" stated a staff member at Jubilee Christian Center. "This William A. Mead Jr person obviously has some serious lying issues. Sounds like he needs to get saved."
Ministry watch and spiritual abuse expert Dr. Bill Blanchard stated: “It was quite evident that both Mead and Sebastian attempted to smear the name of Professor Malvitz, but to no avail. Individuals that know Mark and Martha know that they are choice people with excellent character.
Over the years, the truth always comes out. It is sad to see people like Mead and Sebastian who have given themselves over to moral failure. Instead of taking responsibility for their actions, they decided to blame the church instead. This kind of dysfunctional behavior is quite common now days.”
In regard to the bogus lawsuit launched by Glenn Peterson, a local Sacramento Attorney stated: “I have studied Glenn Peterson’s tactics over the years and if he cannot come up with something legitimate he usually cries “fraud!!!” or “unfair business practices!!” and then settles his failing lawsuits by attempting to intimidate an opponent. Dr. Malvitz isn't the only one that Peterson has done this to. Fortunately, Malvitz wasn't intimidated in the least from what we saw."

Glenn Peterson is a partner of Millstone Peterson and Watts; a law firm located in Roseville, California. “The results of the investigation are still pending and we are very interested in the outcome. We have personally interviewed several individuals throughout the Sacramento area.” stated another attorney assisting in the investigation against Glenn Peterson.
A few days after the frivolous lawsuit was filed, university Professor Mark Malvitz-Ellis Ph.D. who defeated Attorney Glenn Peterson stated: “Glenn Peterson's lawsuit would have been funny if it weren't so pathetic. Reading through the lawsuit that Glenn drafted, it looked like little Glenn Peterson was really having a temper tantrum comparable to a three year old child...I mean this little guy looked like he was really burning up his crayon.

"However, on a more serious note," Dr. Malvitz-Ellis states, "...a major concern with Peterson’s bogus lawsuit and similar lawsuits is the concern of outright fraud by litigants, including the fabrication of facts in order to present a complaint that cannot be dismissed in some of these types of cases.
Besides being legally bogus, a breach of professional ethics, as well as the issue of blatant attorney misconduct can certainly have destructive effects on people’s perception of justice.
These types of bogus lawsuits as launched by Peterson are certainly fraudulent claims and are in effect, to extort money from a defendant who settles because he would rather pay the nuisance value of a fraudulent lawsuit rather than fight it.
In our case, we were more than willing to move ahead and fight, exposing Peterson’s completely bogus claims" stated Malvitz “However, cases that are dismissed with prejudice as was this one, simply means that Mr. Peterson and friends didn’t have a leg to stand on and took the cowardly way out.
I really didn't think a counter-suit was necessary in this frivolous lawsuit. Openly defeating 'Super lawyer' Glenn was good enough for us. Any time a totally bogus lawsuit such as this one is launched and is based on lies it is doomed for failure.
Individuals who apparently were investigating Glenn for attorney misconduct contacted us via phone. Glenn has made a huge myriad of enemies in Sacramento, probably more than I can count. We were not interested in participating because of our extremely busy schedules, however, it seems like Glenn needs some help with his apparent dilemma from what I see. But, that sounds like a personal problem to me and I have no interest in it. I do, however, recommend that Glenn get some really good counseling."
The Sacramento Superior Court losers of record are listed as attorney Glenn Peterson, Steve Presson, Sylvia E. McLain, Deborah Wilson, Carl Vom Cleff, Bonnie Vom Cleff, David Coan, Joan Coan and Debra Stamey.

I was in a huge meeting where Mark was speaking. Pretty phenomenal in my opinion. I also read his Ph.D. doctoral dissertation in grad school.

I have lived in Lodi for many years; since the early 50’s. I remember the whole news paper fiasco because I was there. I am also a member of the large denomination that Mark was ordained with. Mark and Martha took over a very troubled church that went through pastors like water, and the church was hopelessly in debt to begin with. Well over 1 million. When the board decided to file a bankruptcy on the church, Mark had adamantly opposed the decision. Mark worked very hard for years to get the deficit down but the board overruled him and filed anyway. Mark spent a substantial amount of time cleaning other pastor’s messes from previous years only to get stung and burned in the end.
Mark promoted an action of integrity to salvage the church, not destroy it. The board members who, in my estimation, didn’t know their butt from a hole in the ground.
It is sad to see such venom against an outstanding minister such as Mark from these crummy little reporters at the Sentinel. I think Richard Hanner needs to go get a real job, or at least pull his head out of his ass. To even state that this pastor “left the San Joaquin Valley in shame” is nothing but propaganda and a total lie.
Thankfully Mark and his lovely family have gone on to great things in the ministry. Mark was accepted at a high profile graduate school and jumped on the opportunity to enroll. I don’t blame him at all for seizing the opportunity. A college graduate myself, I appreciate and respect education. In closing, I was in a convention and was delighted to see Mark preach and his wife sing. What a blessing! I wish Mark and Martha Godspeed as they continue to help others and pursue both education and ministry careers. Mark is always welcome at our church.

I think we have gotten a bit off track here. The whole point of this blog was not to affirm the good reverend, but to openly publish a case of irresponsible attorney conduct. Weather or not you like either of the parties is irrelevant. If this makes anyone angry tough luck. Obviously Malvitz-Ellis has a substantial fan club, but that is NOT the point. The point is that the legal profession is tainted because of stuff like this and gives us lawyers a bad reputation. Hope this helps.

There was a drunken couple that drove all the way up from Lodi to make a scene at the church in reaction to Glenn Peterson's propaganda filled and frivolous lawsuit that was a failure. The woman and her husband started fighting in the parking lot. When I tried to break it up she bent over and started punching me in the stomach. I’m not sure if she thought I was her husband or not as she was heavily intoxicated. It is amusing that Ross Farrow (encouraged by Richard Hanner) would publish a phony article as if Malvitz-Ellis was "beat up" or something. In fact, that was a total lie by these chumpy reporters. Thought this blog was interesting. I read a few weeks ago that Dr. Frederick K.C. Price filed a huge libel lawsuit against Ole Anthony who falsified a ton of evidence and openly broadcasted it through the media. The Dallas Newspaper covering the lawsuit entitled the article "Ole Oooppss!" as Ole Anthony is in hot water now and a defendant in a major lawsuit.
Evidently, pastors are now standing up against trash like this. I think pastors ought to start filing lawsuits against people who feel that they can slander a ministry or minister however they please and simply walk away. Good for him.

If I remember correctly it was these “business people” who filed their silly lawsuit to begin with. Mark didn’t allow them on the church board so they left the church, had a temper tantrum, spent a lot of money on a lawsuit and horribly lost. Why would any pastor (in their right mind) have someone on their board who owed the government mega back taxes, lose their businesses left and right, bite hair dressers, arrested for domestic violence, yet want to run a church? Sounds like these people need to get a real life. Or at least get Jesus. Get real. Mark made the right decision. Even if it did cost him to make a stand. Who would have the guts to do that? Mark did.

Further proof that simply wiping your ass on a piece of paper and filing it at the courthouse does not make for a good lawsuit as this Glenn Peterson fellow quickly discovered. Hopefully, he learned his valuable lesson although the hard way.
Hopefully he will focus on good ethical conduct in all of his future litigation endeavors. A thorough review to the rules regulating attorney conduct would be a great place to start in getting back on the straight and narrow.

I just stumbled across this blog not too long ago. My sincerest appreciation to all for the supportive comments here, with exception of the profanity.
By far, the cowardly behavior of Glenn and his little group is the silliest drama filled foolishness that I have seen in my 23 years as a successful professional. I think we were all disappointed in Glenn’s conduct as well as his phony lawsuit that was merely filled with falsities, conjecture, hearsay, speculation and fraudulent claims.
Glenn’s fiasco is a perfect example that filing a lawsuit is one thing, but actually winning a lawsuit is a whole different story all together. No doubt his clients paid a lot of money to Glenn’s benefit. I would be safe to say that “Stupid is as stupid does” would be an appropriate cliché here.
Moreover, I have been asked to engage Glenn in a full contact match by many individuals over the years. It would be my great pleasure to do so, if Glenn would consent to one. An individual contacted me recently who directly asked Glenn the whereabouts of his dojang and Glenn refused to say where it was – probably because it doesn’t exist. If in the event that Glenn is able to find this mysterious dojang that he, apparently is unable to find, I would be more than happy to meet him on his turf with great enthusiasm.
At this point, and in my opinion, I think that the martial arts status that Glenn projects to the public is phony and that Glenn is a novice at best. Who knows? Maybe he took a few lessons in a rehab program or something? I don’t know. I am forced to speculate at this point, as no one that I have talked to in martial arts circles so far has even heard of a Glenn Peterson; much less knowing Glenn as a person with any notable belt ranking. With those facts in mind, and with pure personal opinion, I would have to ascertain that his portrayed martial arts status is fraudulent as well.

I'm not too sure that I would be willing to give a case of mine to an attorney who has been sued for professional negligence. Not worth the high level of risk in my opinion.
While I am no legal expert, it really makes me wonder what this attorney has done that no one knows about yet. Being sued for professional negligence may be an indication of the need to be admitted into substance abuse rehabilitation. My brother in law is an attorney and he admitted himself back in the late 80’s. He now has a flourishing law practice.
I have been in full gospel ministry in Stockton for well over 40 years. Interestingly, over the years I have silently watched these people that came against the Malvitz’s back in the 90s and have seen them drop like flies. One suddenly died of a stroke at a young age, another died of a heart attack, several went bankrupt and out of business, many divorced and three that I know of landed in mental institutions and others went to prison. It will be interesting to see the end of these folks who did this lawsuit game. People like this look “good” for a while but their end is destruction. It may take a while, but It’s only a matter of time.

I’ve seen this kind of trash before. People go to church and do well for a while, decided to quit going and blame their pastor and church for their own personal failure. The Plants who filed the lawsuit ran a shady mortgage company and bore the brunt of the down turn in the economy as a result. I’m not sure what this was all about, but I had Dr Ellis as a Systematic Theology professor. Talk about a dynamo. One of the best professors I have ever had in my life. This lawyer sounds pretty messed up. I’ll certainly pray for him that he will humble himself and surrender his life to Christ. Eternity is forever.

Well, I’ve certainly done my research on this one. According Court records on the Gary Wisner incident where Malvitz pled no contest to a nominal hundred dollar fine (rather than pay out $40,000 at least in legal fees) for a disturbing the peace infraction comparable to a parking ticket. All allegations were denied and were never proven at all. Under the direction of Marty Weybret the incident was highly sensationalized by his newspaper. I’ve read them all. Ironically, Richard Hanner, Marty’s sidekick has a series of tax liens and quite a checkered history himself.
I don’t even think convicted felons get that kind of media coverage. Quite frankly, I personally would’ve beat the living hell out of Gary Wisner to make it worth my while. After investigating Wisner, I would conclude that he is the definition of trash. Even Gary Wisner’s own kids would agree as apparently they even apologized to Mark for the behavior of their father back in 1997. No wonder Glenn Peterson likes him so much.
There seems to be a substantial amount of obsession with this pastor by Glenn Peterson’s group. In my estimation it’s pretty creepy, bizarre, unnatural, and phenomenal for sure. It makes me wonder if these people even have a life. Obviously not.
I’ve talked to Mark and his wife a few times over the years and in my estimation they are about as likable as it gets. I would have to sum up by saying after assessing the background of these individuals who Launched their failed campaign against Mark and Martha by attempting to assassinate their character just to consider the source and see it for what it is; a bunch of silly trash coming from trashy silly people. According to Malvitz these people would make Jerry Springer very proud. I would have to agree.
Peterson seems to represent a substantial amount of people with criminal backgrounds. Also if Peterson has had a long history of substance abuse, divorced by his wife, embattled in a lawsuit for professional negligence as an attorney, there’s little wonder that Glenn Peterson is such a bitter man.

You’re certainly not off at all. I thoroughly researched and investigated everything myself over the course of two years only to be disgusted with what I found with these people involved in this mindless media frenzy.
In a nutshell, the 2003-2004 lawsuit that I have written about here, the clients of Glenn Peterson attempted to build on that incident from 1997, yet make it even more “juicier” adding “identity theft” and “using the other person’s Social Security numbers” and “using people’s credit cards without their authorization” ect ect. and the list goes on and on. Knowing good and well that the information was completely false and the media coverage would publish it as fact.
I wouldn’t doubt it if some of these people were offered some kind of monetary compensation for the bogus testimony and I certainly wouldn’t put that past Peterson at all. Simply a bad faith litigation strategy on the part of Glenn Peterson.
A prima facie case for libel without question. Frankly, I think Malvitz-Ellis is an ass hole for not seeking remedies against this group, and should have his head examined for not doing so. To hell with being spiritual and forgiving your enemies with enemies like this. I say seek restitution and justice and then forgive. But then again, I’m not a reverend and certainly would not want to be.
Any reasonable individual whether they practice law or not can see right through the foolishness of this whole thing. Although clients can be relatively ignorant at times, Peterson knew what he was doing and should be held accountable and from all indication it looks like he will be soon enough as he is not out of the woods yet as he would’ve hoped.

I belong to a local church in Lodi where our pastor who was also openly bashed by the Lodi News Sentinel under the direction of Marty Waybret for simply praying in an open setting. Many of us here in the Lodi community feel that Marty grossly misrepresents us as a community. There are many of us who are praying that he goes out of business for good. I do remember years ago in the 90s when the Sentinel was doing a campaign against this pastor in an attempt to turn him into some kind of a weird demented monster. Christian Center in Lodi years ago and God really blessed my life. In fact, I came to Christ as a result of his ministry there. I think Marty Waybret thought that if he could pump out enough "negative articles" against Mark that somehow it would "destroy" him and his ministry. That really is funny. I trained as a student with Glenn Peterson and his son back in the mid-to-late 90s in Auburn and can tell you that he did not earn any black belt. In fact, GLENN GOT HIS FRONT TOOTH KNOCKED OUT and never came back to the Dojang after threatening the instructor. I will admit that Glenn did have good potential but a real shitty attitude. Talk about déjà vu. Our church over here in Miami had a similar circumstance from a group of people who tried to do the same thing to our pastor. None of them were living right. One man was having an affair on his wife but wanted to be a board member because he owned a restaurant. Another man was later prosecuted for molesting his kids. Our pastor took a stand and yes it cost him a lot of money and time but in the end he did what was right. He was called everything but a child of God. I've known Mark for about 25 years and have seen him compete in tournaments. One of the most agressive and skilled fighters I have ever seen. I love Mark and Martha! They are such an awesome couple. Their ministry and influence has changed my life. It sounds to me like these people are eaten up with jealousy. Too bad for them. Just pray for them. Very sad.
What is really creepy is that some of the pastors that were involved in this died suddenly. Tom Greenmeyer who falsely claimed that he was threatened by Mark died suddenly of a heart attack for no reason whatsoever. Another pastor died suddenly of a stroke at a very young age. Another individual was found dead in a hotel room from a drug overdose. A few others went insane and are in mental institutions. Almost every person involved with this is divorced and bankrupt. Others were thrown in jail and prosecuted on felony charges. This is very tragic. Pastor Wright, thanks for sharing this. This kind of behavior happens to all the big names in ministry. It’s pretty common. Morris Cerullo, Kenneth Copeland, Creflo Dollar, TD Jakes, Joel Osteen and Joyce Meyer just a name a few.
When you look at the behavior and track record of people that lead attacks like this you find that their personal lives are sickening.

Among the most publicized cases has been that of a Lodi orthopedic surgeon, Dr. Gary Wisner, accused of owing nearly $450,000. Wisner was arrested and jailed before posting $200,000 in cash bail. Felony charges against him are pending.
This Mark Malvitz- Eliss fellow is as clean as a whistle. I did his background checks in 2006. He has FBI military security clearance and a member of several organizations that require clear background checks. Further, I have been involved in law enforcement for over 22 years. I recommend investigating these individuals such as the Meads, Wisner, Weybret, and Peterson’s rehab history.
I think what you will find if you do a background check as you will find that Glenn Peterson does not have a black belt and that Malvitz does. Me personally? I think they’re both a couple of a$$ holes, but if I were to prefer one over the other I would go with Malvitz. At least Malvitz has the goods. As a martial arts instructor for over 30 years nothing irritates me more than somebody that presents themselves as if they are an accomplished a martial artist as does Glenn Peterson. Peterson in my estimation is a joke and is a window warrior at best. (look up the term window warrior on urban dictionary)
Peterson’s martial arts status is a great disappointment. Steve Presson one of Peterson’s clients was running around bragging that his lawyer (Glenn Peterson) was a “seventh degree black belt” in Taekwondo. To find out that Glenn Peterson is not even a first degree black belt is ridiculous.
My family and I attended the church where Mark pastored back in the nineties. It was awesome. It’s amazing how most of his enemies were low lifes, convicts and criminally convicted perverts. I guess if I were Satan I wouldn’t like Mark either. What I admire most about Mark is his uncompromising boldness and compassion. We are blessed to this very day because of his ministry. Pretty amazing. I was surprised that this lawyer tried to bully Mark but am not surprised that he failed. I would like to see these two in a martial arts fighting match together. While I am no martial arts expert something tells me that Glenn Peterson wouldn’t stand a chance in that arena either.

I’d have to agree, Mark is awesome. So is his wife. A very handsome couple. Very talented too. I haven’t seen Mark and Martha since the late nineties but hear that they are doing very well. I’m proud of them, and I’m very proud to have met them and been blessed by their powerful ministry together. These people are just jealous that’s pretty obvious. It doesn’t take too much discernment to know that Marty Weybret from the Lodi News Sentinel is a nut job. Even his own employees were posting derogatory comments about Marty. Marty is basically a rich kid that had his dad’s newspaper business handed to him. A Lodi brat. As ugly as Marty Weybret’s wife is it makes you wonder if he’s a perv as well.
Why would Malvitz waste 10 years of his life in the Lodi area trying to help pigs like this? Better him than me. I pastor in Oregon and know this kind of garbage all too well.
I remember those ridiculous articles written by Richard Hanner from the Sentinel way back in the 90s. We lived in Galt, CA at the time.
I also remember Sam Hernandez (also known as Sam Mambo) threatening to go after Malvitz with a baseball bat. I have no doubt in my mind had Hernandez done such a thing that Malvitz would have rammed Hernandez’ baseball bat up us his ass. Hernandez is a fat little wet back.
Malvitz is one of my favorites. He’s a great competitor, a great educator, amazing speaker, and all around a great guy.
I’ve always greatly admired Mark for what he stands for. These other people are obviously trash to the extreme.
I too would like to see Peterson attempt to take on Mark in a match. I’d give Peterson a survival expectancy of about 30 seconds max. If anyone would like to place bets I'll hold the money! Ha!
Gotta hand it to Malvitz. He has a hell of a lot more patience than I do.
I remember when Glenn Peterson threatened our Martial Arts instructor because Glenn got his ass kicked. We were glad when he left. Glenn is a pu$$y with a mouth. That’s it. Nothing more and nothing less. By the way, Peterson is NOT a black belt in ANY martial art form. He obviously lied to his clients.
There seems to be something terrible that happens to people who engage in this kind of conduct. It’s almost like they never recover and are turned over to reprobation. I’ve seen people do this in my own church where I have pastored for 12 years. I had a group do the same thing to me only a much smaller scale. The behavior is purely demonic. Even worse, they tried to turn me into some kind of a monster or con man. Even more bizarre they all acted like they are on some kind of “Mission from God” trying to tear our church up. I’m still here and our church has grown tremendously after they left. Our opposers have suffered nothing but tragedy and we continue to flourish in God’s blessing. Our Sunday contributions have even doubled. It is sad to see what has happened to many of these people who make poor choices to their own destruction. Very sad.
If I were Malvitz I wouldn’t lose a wink of sleep over Marty Webret’s campaign against his ministry. Weybret’s campaign obviously failed. The majority of us here in Lodi think that Marty Weybret is a weird little jack off. Weybret doesn’t represent us – never has – never will.
As a friend of Mark and Martha's I'd say it's pretty obvious that this group is jealous of Malvitz. The man is very successful, talented, in great shape, an accomplished competitor, and has a beautiful family. I would consider opposition by inbreeds like Weybret and friends a compliment -not an insult. Mark and Martha are good people. I know them firsthand and my perception is not filtered through sewage of the Lodi News sentinel that has the credibility level of the National Enquirer. Its common knowledge that we Lodi residents can't stand Marty Weybret or his staff.

This Peterson seems to get off on picking on the ignorant and the defenseless. He was clearly out of his league when he hit up against Mark and lost his ass as a result. What a loser. Im going to be keep a close eye on this guy.
Mark helped our ministry organization as we faced a similar legal battle and won overwhelmingly. I was amazed at Mark's insight and recommendations that our team of attorneys actually used to successfully defeat our opponents. The lawsuit against our ministry was very taxing, expensive, and extremely unpleasant. I appreciate Mark’s stability and levelheadedness through all of the insanity that we faced. Thank you Dr. Mark. You’re a true blessing to us all.
To see how this young man was overwhelmingly ambushed by the media and this little lawyer turd, yet still flourishing and going strong is nothing short of amazing. I’d like to meet Mark someday. I’m so sad to hear that Mr. Glenn Peterson is not a black belt in tae kwon do. My nephew used to work for Mr. Steve Presson who uses Glenn Peterson as his attorney quite a bit from what I hear. According to my nephew, Mr. Steve Presson was telling quite a few people that Glenn was a seventh degree black belt. I wonder what Mr. Presson felt like once he learned that his lawyer is not even a first-degree black belt, let alone a seventh degree. Pretty disappointing I’m sure. Probably as disappointed as Mr. Glenn Peterson’s former clients who have sued him for professional negligence.
Hey Objective observer. It gets better than that. I used to work for Steve Presson and his outfit down on J St. called Original Pete’s. I have since gone on to work in a high powered law firm full-time in the San Francisco Bay Area.
In 2004 Steve Presson’s wife Kelly Presson filed a lawsuit against Steve for domestic violence. Also, in 2010 she filed for a dissolution also known as a divorce filing.
You can find the legal documents In the Sacramento Superior Court filing database which is available to the general public. Cases Number 04DV01107 and 10FL04884 both cases are entitled Kelly Presson v. Steve Presson.
You wouldn’t believe some of the stuff that I saw go on at Presson’s outfit. Nothing short of bizarre. I remember when Steve jumped on and started biting a hairdresser. The man is a mental case in my opinion.

Gary Wisner was arrested for child endangerment? Also, other felonies? Criminal fraud, and assaulting law enforcement agents is very serious as well. I didn’t know that. Do they allow child molesters and/or child endangerment criminals to actually practice medicine? There has to be some kind of law in place to protect parents who are unaware of a medical doctor's criminal background.
I’ve known Mark and Martha for quite a number of years. Actually, since 1993. Indeed, Marty’s “monster mash” against the Malvitz’s back in 1998 was a joke. His second attempt second 2003 with this lawyer who got his ass kicked was even funnier.
The relentless attacks against Mark was pretty mind blowing in my estimation. It looked to me like Marty was taking a shit and it all came out in his newspaper.
Marty Weybret is clearly a little puss who hides behind his staff writers and the Lodi News Sentinel. The Malvitz’s are good friends of mine and have been very good to me.
While Mark may be a bit of a hardass, he has my respect because of what he stands for. He has fearlessly told me about Jesus on several occasions. When I decide to become a Christian someday, I want Mark and Martha to pray for me. Who knows? Maybe they would be willing to be my pastors. I’m not sure how good of a church member I would be. But it would be worth a shot when that time comes.
Dr. Mark was my professor when I took Tort law a few years ago. Probably one of the best professors I’ve ever had in my life. Very knowledgeable. Very professional. Very helpful. No-nonsense.
Notice that all of the false allegations against this pastor by Gary Wisner and his group were the very things that Gary Wisner was guilty of himself. I remember when Gary was thrown in jail facing multiple felony counts including violent related felonies and felony perjury charges right after his bout with Malvitz. My ex-boss Marty Weybret who sensationalized all of this foolishness is in my estimation unethical, disgusting, and a creep. I believe in Karma. Payday will come.

I was wondering what the hell happened to Mark after he went into the military. I don’t remember him in high school as being an academic. However, apparently he teaches now or something. I can’t argue with that. Academics and Mark I would assume would be polar opposites. I have no problem with Malvitz and have a lot of respect for him.
Gary and Michelle Wisner were both criminally indicted and prosecuted for felony perjury and other serious criminal offenses. Michelle Wisner was an accomplice in alleged multiple crime appears to be soliciting funds from various donors in the Lodi area.
Allowing the Wisner’s to solicit funds from unwary donors raises questions in the mind of any reasonable person. Especially several of us who have lived in the Lodi and Galt area for many years.
Perhaps an internal audit would be appropriate so as to prohibit any misappropriation or further potential breach of fiduciary obligations should be put in place to protect the general public. With the Wisner’s long track record criminal activity I think such an approach would be in order.
Lunatics like Gary Wisner is why I am such a strong supporter of gun control. It is amazing how much civil and criminal legal trouble he and his wife Michelle have been involved with over the years. I see why he used to pack a firearm. Would I voluntarily turn my hard earned money over to these people? Hell no. I can’t think of too many people in their right mind that would. Especially after all of the felony perjury charges leveled against them as reported by the Lodi News Sentinel. My brother-in-law works for the police department in the town of Lodi. They could tell you things about Wisner that would make your skin crawl.
I went to school with Michelle years ago. I remember Michelle (Gary Wisner’s wife) also known as Michelle Duberg when she was hauled into the courtroom and was dressed in her orange Jail clothing formally charged, as a criminal should be. Both Wisner and his wife are scum in the minds of many Lodians. Now they are raising cash? Look luck with that one. I want to see the books too.

I attended Mark’s Church for about two-three years when it was in the denomination. I couldn’t believe how jealous some of the other denominational pastors were against this young pastor. As a result, I quit attending some of the sectional fellowships. Most of those guys I understand are dead. Including Tom Greenmeyer. who was apparently the ring leader from what I understand.
Unfortunately, I was transferred from my job and had to leave Lodi. I was pleasantly surprised to see Mark as a guest speaker at a conference that I attended and that’s the last I had heard him speak. Certainly a powerful and dynamic young man at the time. While attending my church in Ohio there was a similar group who tried to do this to our pastor as well, only to lose their lawsuit. Later on it was revealed that most of them were involved in some kind of a sick and perverted secret life very, very similar to some of these Lodi folks.
These people from Lodi remind me of the group from Ohio. I noticed that the personal lives of these individuals from what I’ve mirrored that of those from Ohio. In my estimation, that’s too much coincidence to actually be coincidence. I have been a Christian for many years and I cringe when I see people act like this. It's always easier to attack the messenger than it is to repent of personal sin. Although I'm not a Bible scholar I think that it is definitely a sign of the last days.

Paul, we also had a group of about 10 people who did this to our Pastor as well. You wouldn’t believe some of the disgusting things that they tried to make up about him. Our Pastor filed a lawsuit against the people who came against our church and won. The defendants tried to overturn the jury verdict on appeal and failed again. The Court of Appeals affirmed the jury verdict that was handed down. That’s our story here in the Bible Belt. I don’t know how it is in Ohio but I’m sure it’s pretty crazy from what I’ve heard. In California it’s ridiculous. Yes, I would have to agree that this is a sign of the last days. I have a Master of Divinity degree from Fuller Theological Seminary. I’m not sure if that categorizes me as a scholar, but I’m certainly no dummy.

Folks, as many of you know comments on this board are moderated and highly scrutinized so as to ensure their validity. I have received messages asking if this blog is funded or promoted by Malvitz. The answer is no. Nor is it funded or sponsored by any of his members.
I do not know Mr. Malvitz personally nor do I have any intention of meeting him. I cannot say that I like him or dislike him. I simply do not know him. He seems to be a good enough person from what I’ve learned from fellow attorneys who have done extensive background checks on Malvitz and that’s all I need to know. The purpose of this blog is not to promote or discredit his religious ideas in any way. I am an atheist or an agnostic at best. My mother was a Buddhist, and my father claimed to be a Christian. I am neither.
Be advised that we have carefully monitored IP addresses on all incoming comments to verify the legitimacy of the comments that come in. Unless Mr. Malvitz has the means of posting from Utah, New Mexico, Florida, Texas, New Jersey, New Hampshire, Southern California, Wisconsin, Oregon, South Dakota, and even Canada all at the same time, it is highly unlikely that any of these responses are from Malvitz. I highly doubt that Mr. Malvitz is omnipresent or able to be in several states at the same time.
We have also received quite a bit of comments from the town of Lodi as well, primarily out of concern of this Gary Wisner and Michelle Duberg who apparently were prosecuted for crimes in Lodi. Their criminal prosecution is a matter of public record. These comments that come in from Lodi about Wisner and his criminal accomplice Michelle Duberg have IP addresses from the Lodi area as well.
Again, I would like to emphasize that this blog is not for the purpose of defending a pastor, priest or Rabbi. Nor is it to promote a religion or creed. It is to expose bogus lawsuits that have no merit and deplorably bad practice from foolish attorneys.
I was contacted a few years ago by Mr. Malvitz who was very cordial but was quite firm on discontinuing the wide range of comments that exist on this blog. Mr. Malvitz asserted that he needed no defense as clearly indicated by overwhelmingly defeating Glenn Peterson who claims Super Lawyer status. We were also contacted by quite a number of people who were either former and disgruntled clients of Mr. Peterson or others who have been involved in litigation with him. What I heard also raised tremendous concern on my part.
I simply assured Malvitz that any comments that come in that are suspect (ie fake comments from Gary Wisner, Peterson’s group, the Meads, or others) are not approved. This is why we have utilized intense scrutiny before releasing comments to be sure of their validity.
All of that said, comments on this blog are now officially closed. Any incoming comments will simply be ignored.
